Equinozio di primavera is a shared calendar project that promotes the main activities and major contemporary art events in Tuscany, concentrated in specific periods of the year, such as the first two weeks of spring and autumn.
The initiative brings together museums, contemporary art centers, foundations, independent spaces, private collections, and projects spread throughout the region, offering a broad and articulated view of the Tuscan contemporary art scene. The program includes exhibitions, installations, permanent collections, and site-specific projects distributed across cities and landscapes, from the coast to inland areas.
The aim is to share and disseminate relevant information about public institutions and private organizations active in the field, representing the region’s most advanced cultural offerings. The project seeks to create a cohesive network for contemporary art in Tuscany, enhancing its communication while fully respecting the curatorial and managerial autonomy of each participating entity.
Spring Equinox includes the program of events from March 21 to April 4, 2026, and is promoted, integrated, and updated through the websites of the participating artistic and cultural venues, coordinated by the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art.
It is possible to view and download the full calendar to discover all participating venues, opening hours, and scheduled events.
